AUSTIN TICHENOR is probably best known as the Managing Partner of the Reduced Shakespeare Company, and co-author of their shows COMPLETELY HOLLYWOOD (abridged), ALL THE GREAT BOOKS (abridged), WESTERN CIVILIZATION: THE COMPLETE MUSICAL (abridged), THE BIBLE: THE COMPLETE WORD OF GOD (abridged), and THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF AMERICA (abridged).
Prior to joining the R S C, Tichenor was Associate Producing Director of the American Stage Festival in Milford, New Hampshire, where he wrote over twenty plays and musicals for young audiences, and where DANCING ON THE CEILING first premiered.
